About the Journal
PsyHealth: Journal of Health Psychology is an international scientific journal published by the Indonesian Psychological Association (HIMPSI) as a forum for the dissemination of research and development in the field of health psychology. The journal publishes empirical research, theoretical studies, and evidence-based intervention innovations that examine the role of psychological factors in physical health, mental health, health behavior, and individual and community well-being throughout the lifespan.
PsyHealth integrates perspectives from psychology, public health, and behavioral science to support health promotion, disease prevention, and improved quality of life. The journal upholds scientific excellence, ethical integrity in publication, a humanistic orientation, and innovation and global relevance, with a commitment to fostering research that not only contributes to the advancement of science but also has a tangible impact on the health and well-being of society.
Himpunan Psikologi Indonesia (HIMPSI)
HIMPSI was established in Jakarta on July 11, 1959 under the name Ikatan Sarjana Psikologi (Association of Psychology Graduates), abbreviated as ISPsi. In line with changes in the higher education system in Indonesia, through the 1998 Extraordinary Congress in Jakarta, the organization changed its name to Himpunan Psikologi Indonesia (Indonesian Psychological Association), abbreviated as HIMPSI. HIMPSI is the Parent Professional Organization (PPO) for Psychology in accordance with the Law on Education and Psychological Services No. 23 of 2022. Members of HIMPSI are professionals in the field of psychology, including psychologists, psychology graduates, psychology masters, and psychology doctors. Currently, HIMPSI has regional organizations in 37 provinces throughout Indonesia and has 22 associations/unions.
